Small island in central part of the Faroe Islands. There are many sea-birds colonies on Skúvoy, mainly jaegers, puffins and guillemots. Only village was settled on the east coast of the island. It was known in Vikings times - Sigmundur Brestisson, who introduced Christianity to the Faroe Islands in 999 was born there.
