  • Only because Britishers built Railway, did Kalyan got importance. Else till present date no noticable project came to this city. We should have Statue of Robert Maitland Brereton (2 January 1834 – 7 December 1911) who was an English railway engineer in India. Its only because of him we are having such a good rail network in this part of the Country.
