Constructed in 1929 and designed by H.E. Plumer & Associates, the Pierce-Arrow Showroom on the corner of Main St. and Jewett Ave was intended to be a prototype for all Pierce-Arrow dealerships nationwide. Featuring extensive Art-Deco styling with Marble, brass and backlit amber accents, the showroom opened for business in 1930. Unfortunately, the high-end vehicles manufactured by Pierce-Arrow found few buyers during the Great Depression years, and less than a decade after the showroom opened Pierce-Arrow went bankrupt.

The showroom was purchased by the Studebaker Corporation in 1938 and used to showcase their cars until Studebaker's own bankruptcy in 1963. Left vacant for several years, the showroom was spared the wrecking ball after the Greater Buffalo Savings Bank purchased the property and painstakingly restored and converted it into a bank. Today the former showroom is home to a First Niagara Bank Branch, and displays an actual 1932 Pierce-Arrow on the floor.
