Floda Church was founded during the medieval period. Its current form, with a double nave, a small porch and a square tower, topped with a spire, developed over time, but would have been largely in place by the eighteenth century. The tower was not added until the edge of the century. The church is well kept and attractively whitewashed. It serves a parish of the established National Church, which is Lutheran.
