Future home of the USS Edson (DD-946), a Forrest Sherman Class Destroyer presently held in storage at the Philadelphia Inactive Ships Maintenance Facility. The museum group has already installed a shoreside access pier and upgraded mooring & fendering facilities to handle the Edson, and is presently fundraising to cover the costs associated with towing the Veteran warship from Philadelphia to Bay City.
