This is the site of international arts and crafts fair held annually during first and second week of February. Hotel Rajhans and adjoining site of police station is the property of Haryana Govt. The man-made tank called 'Surajkund' was excavated by Tomar king Anangpal Singh who ruled Delhi circa 1000AD. The tank once made for supply of water to surrounding area in Delhi, is dry now-a days. ASI is trying to find natural source of water level but chance is getting feeble due to large scale mining in the surrounding area and construction of building, apartments, hotels and road thus covering the ground with concrete and asphalt. espite all odds, the location has became famous for arts and crafts fair with the gathering of artists from all over the country and SAARC region. The place is worth visiting during 1-15 February.
