Promontory with pleasant views on the sea, it is dotted with villas owned by Rome's upper class. It flourished in the 60's, with well-known architects of the time designing villas for the rich and famous, mostly in the mass-media circuit. Now, it is seen more as a "retro" relic of the past society.

  • on the top of the promontory of Ansedonia there are the arcaelogical site of the city of "Cosa". the site wasn't much knowledge by the mass of visitors, but it's a beautiful and very representative place to know how was an important imperial roman village. go to see it. It's amusant.
