Darlot

The Darlot gold mine is a trackless underground operation located on the Yandal Greenstone Belt currently owned and operated by Barrick Gold, approximately 680 kilometres northeast of Perth, Western Australia. Ore is treated by conventional carbon-in-leach at the on-site mill. Proven and probable mineral reserves as of December 31, 2009 are estimated at 444,000 ounces of gold.

Yilgarn South

Since Q1 2008, the Darlot, Granny Smith and Lawlers mines have been consolidated under Yilgarn South for reporting purposes. In 2009, Yilgarn South collectively produced 352,000 ounces of gold at total cash costs of $685 per ounce.
