Venjan Church was built in 1798 and replaced a small chapel that had served the area for more than a century before. The new church was built of timber. Of the inventory, a lovely triptych is well worth seeing. The church seats about three hundred people and serves a Lutheran parish. It was extensively restored in the nineteen fifties.
