Kamalabari ferry ghat, Majuli Island. This is the main ferry terminal on the south side of the island. Ferries go to Nimati ghat (~12 km from Jorhat town). In october, there were 2 services to Nimati Ghat in the morning (around 7:30 and 8:30AM), the next service was at about 1PM!
There are a couple of tea stalls. The schedule of local buses for Kamalabari and garamur are synchronised with that of ferry. In addition, shared taxis are available for garamur.
