Thane Nagar Wachan Mandir was formerly known as 'Mullack Library' name after a Britisher. It was founded in the British era more than 100 years ago as a public library. After independence it has been managed first by Thane Municipal Council and now by Thane municipal Corporation.All books here are for public to read at very nominal price.It has very large collection of books in different languages.
