This fort is known as old age rest place Vishramgad used by royal families as hill station since Yadavas 200 BC. This the huge and longer strip shaped fort get name 'Patta' due to its shape. There huge and lots of water filled tanks and lots of caves for shelter. From highest point about 30 forts can be seen and identified from surroundings during clean weather.
