Birka terminal (officially Stadsgård Terminal) is a cruise terminal located near the Slussen area in Stockholm. It serves Birka Crusie lines and was opened in 2005 on a location of the first Birka's cruise pavillion launched in 1972 when the cruise company was founded. Birka management offices occupy the terminal building as well. Terminal is the departure/ arrival point of 22-hour cruises from Stockholm to Mariehamn (the swedish speaking city located on Aland archipelago in Finland) and back, operating seven days a week. Birka cruises are very popular among swedish and other scandinavian tourists
