Site of an old traffic circle, rebuilt as a modern roundabout in 2000. The first modern roundabout built in NY State. If you look carefully, you can see the remains of the old, 600 foot diameter circle surrounding the new 200 foot diameter roundabout. The divided highway heading East-Southeast is I-587, one of the shorter interstate highways in the country.
