The Standish Maximum Correctional Facility is comprised of six 88-bed housing units. Three units are for general population; two are for administrative segregation, including detention cells; and one is a protective custody unit. Other buildings on the grounds provide food service, health care, maintenance, programming, and administrative functions. Standish’s mission is to safely house difficult, hard to manage prisoners and work to transition them to lower custody level facilities.
