A six story five-star international hotel located in downtown Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Opened in 1961, Ulaanbaatar Hotel was the first public building in the capital with hot running water, so that some of Mongolia's elite rented rooms by the hour to enjoy a hot bath or shower. A number of foreign embassies were quartered at the hotel during 1980’s and 1990’s.
