Cinco de Noviembre Marker (Silay)

The Cinco de Nobiembre Marker marks the site of the first exchange of shots between the Filipino and Spanish forces on November 5, 1898. It is also the approximate location of the then public square where the northern forces of Gen. Lacson assembled and raised the Philippine flag.
The city’s Maninihon Clay Products Showroom exhibits good quality pottery.
