The Auckland Islands form an archipelago of the New Zealand Sub-Antarctic Islands. They are group of islands formed by volcanic activity and heavily eroded by glaciers.

The main island (Auckland Island) has an approximate land area of 510 km², and a length of 42 km. It is notable for its steep cliffs and rugged terrain, which rises to over 600 m.

The islands have no permanent human inhabitants.
