Kumhrar or Kumrahar are the remains of an old metropolis of Pataliputra, situated five kilometer from Patna Railway Station, on Kankarbagh Road, Patna, Bihar, India. The archeological remains of the Mauryan era (322-185 BCE), have been identified here, these include the ruins of a hypostyle 80 columned mansion. The archeological site finding here goes back to 600 before Christ, and sets the old capital of Ajatshatru, Chandragupta and Ashoka the Great, and jointly the tokens array from 4 uninterrupted periods of time from 600 BC to 600 anno Domini
