Revsund Church is the largest countryside church in Jämtland county and built in the 1870s. There has been a church on this site since the twelfth century. As a consequence the buiding contains several valuable medieval objects, including a triumphal crucifix that once would have been used in parish processions, images of St. Olav and the Virgin Mary believed to be fourteenth century, and an image of St. Michael the Archangel, thought to be from the fifteenth. The beautifully carved pulpit, well worth seeing, was made in 1651.
