  This Gurdwara was built in the name of Bibi Bhagwan Kaur wife of S. Ujjagar Singh Gill of Moga, who owned the land between Zira road and Amritsar road. She was also the mother of S. Nachhattar Singh Gill, MLA Moga.

  Bibi Bhagwan Kaur ji was a very pious and progressive lady . Her grandsons Rajdeep Singh Gill and Paramdeep Singh Gill retired as D. G. Police in Punjab .
