Ezike Okonkwo, the story continues, was a legend, brave, wise, wealthy, feared and repected man. The notion of the infinite expanse and copiousness of his wealth and wisdom in Umuahaba, Ukpor, resonates in his offsprings. While he was respected for his wealth, he was consulted on matters ranging from child rearing, family, custom and tradition. Due to the lack of records during his time, nobody knew when he was born or how long he lived, but while he held the title of "The Oldest Man" in entire Ukpor, his first son, Odinyido was the second oldest man.
