FLWO 48" telescope

Another scientifically productive medium-sized telescope of the Fred L. Whipple Observatory (FLWO), run by the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO). This telescope is used entirely for imaging (while its neighbor, the 60" telescope, is used for spectroscopy of celestial objects).
