This is where Al-Ameer Hussaineyyah is being constructed, construction started in July 2010 ago and is still ongoing ( as of December 2010 )...

Al-Ameer (as) Hussaineyyah is being built by the donator; Al-Ameer family from KSA. the name of Al-Hussaineyyah is after both Al-Ameer Ali Bin Abi-Talib (as) and the family name which is taken from Al-Ameer Ali Bin Abi-Talib. so the letters (as) has been added to the official name.

Al-Hussaineyyah is a name for any building or place that is built for the purpose of commemoration of Hussain ibn Ali in what is known as the 'Mourning of Muharram', so the name has been taken... even thought a lot of similar buildings uses name (Maatam) instead of Hussaineyyah, but in Arabic the last is the correct term for such a place.
