Ambabai (Bhavani from Tulajapur) is believed to be residing in this 400 years old temple. The temple was renovated in 1982. The temple has a lamp-post (deepamaaL)in its front. Temples of Maruti and Mahadev and Shri Raghavendra Swami Math are in the vicinity of this temple. The temple hosts a annual Indian Classical music concert during Navaratri Utsav. Well known artistes are invited to perform on this platform. The utsav lasts for whole period of Navaratri celebrations.
