Also known as the Blue Belle Mine. Jack Cress is listed as the owner and operator of this mine as early as 1899. Cress also operated the St. George to the west. Together with J.W. Callaway, he laid out a town called "Panamini" in 1906 that was located 16 miles south of Ballarat and possibly located in Goler Canyon. It is unknown if the name was a variant of Panamint or a typographical error.
