  • This is Namma Ooru, place where I was born and brought up. The primary school here where I studied I always remember, the smaal river behind our house "hunda kloi halla" where we did swimming and enjoyed. The smallhill aslo where we did picnic / trecking. Kabaddi was a famous game which our school team played with other school teams and we won several Tropheys.
  • the things which I often remember are "Antige Pintige " the traditional folksong like thing performed in the night by visiting house to house inthe night which starts with " Deeeep Deepooooolige DEEP DEEPOOOOLIGE" Ganapathi festival in School, School day where we used to play drama ete. The winter season and especially the Ellamavasya and Sankramana Teru / Rathothsava and the well known Theppothsva across river Tunga near Kuruvalli Sethuve at Thirthahalli Anandagiri gudda, Siddeshawara gudda etcc
