Explosive Industries was established in 1952 as a manufacturer of state-of-the-art explosives for the Israeli army and as a sole supplier of explosives for civilian use. The company produces ammonium nitrate explosives, as well as emulsion explosives (based on Austin International technology), detonation cords, electric and non-electric delay and relay detonators, busters and other blasting accessories, mainly for use in quarry works, rock blasting, infrastructure and construction applications.

Explosive Industries regularly puts together a unique explosive services scheme that is custom-tailored to fit the needs of each individual customer. The company operates four dedicated trucks for direct-to-the-hole supply of bulk Anfo and additional truck for the supply of bulk emulsion and offers complete blasting services to quarries, including patterns, material supply and blasting. Explosive Industries deals in the demilitarization of conventional ammunition, the emptying of aerial bombs and projectiles and in the reclaiming of explosives and metal parts.
