HM 'A' school. The making of a Navy Hospital Corpsman would start here. From here, they move on to Shore Duty in one of the Navy's many fine Hospitals and Dispensary Clinics, or to Camp Lejeune, NC or Camp Pendleton, CA for field medical service school (FMSS) to be trained in the concept of combat/field medicine to prepare corpsman for the fleet marine forces (FMF).
