Former location of the E-M-F Plant, which was completely destroyed by fire in 2005. Originally built by Wayne Motors in 1904, then purchased by the E-M-F Company and expanded into a larger complex, the outline of which is still visible. Studebaker acquired the plant in 1912, it later passed through several other owners and uses, including Chrysler and Michigan National Guard, last being used as a meat market.
