Located in what was a speakeasy in the 1920's, the Museum is on the lower levels of this 5/6 story building. When purchased in 1964 by the current owner's father two locked safes were found in the basement, one of which contained $2 million in gold certificates which were returned to the previous owner, although expired. The upper floors are apartments. It is believed that Leon Trotsky once lived here and that Frank Sinatra served drinks as a singing waiter.
