The Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Grotto (Is-Santwarju tal-Madonna tal-Ghar) (Rabat)

This is the ancient Dominican church in Rabat which was built on top of a hundreds years' old devotional grotto. In this church, a statue of Our Lady of the Grotto has shed tears of real, human blood on two separate occasions during May 1999. The adjacent priory, which was built mostly during the first half of the 15th Century, is the biggest and one of the oldest in Malta.
