Great swimming hole with diving cliffs and sand beaches at the intersection of two branches of the Little River. Very popular with locals in the summer. A tradition of midnight trips for an invigorating dip and coffee on the bridge is observed spontaneously any time of the year.

  • The "Y" is where they used to turn the steam engines around when the Little River Lumber Company ran a logging railroad through here. For more history of the area, read the book "Last Train to Elkmont"
