Linz-Hörsching is a joint civil-military airfield used by civil airtraffic but also an airbase of the Austrian air force and hosts the:
- Kommando Luftunterstützung (Airsupport Command);
- Überwachungsgeschwader Staffel 3 (Guardwing 3rd Interceptor Sqn) equipped with the EF2000 Eurofighter
- Fliegerwerft 3 (tech support sqn 3) responsible for all AB212 helicopter/EF2000/SAAB105/C130H maintenance.
- Luftfahrttechnische Logistikzentrum (logistic facility).
