  • This is also the site of the Crysta Palace during the Great Exhibition. When the Exhibition closed a majority of the atrifacts were moved to the Victora and Alvert Museum (just to the south, and the building was taken apart and rebuilt in South East London in an area that adopted its name "Crystal Palace"
