Macedonian Royal Tombs (Vergina)

The Great Mound under which King Philip II, father of Alexander the Great, and other members of the royal family of the Macedons were burried. The Mound was recontructed after the excavations, incorporating the museum, where the splendid findings are exposed practically at the place where they were found.
