A former Rathaus (Ratusz) it was rebuilt for the fifth time in 1930 by engineer Treli.

Originally the former city hall was built back in 1666 out of wood. In 1672 the second Rathaus was rebuilt adding some rock for better fortification. In the early periods of its existence the city hall was used as a surveillance post. In 1677 it was destroyed during the Ottoman's siege. In 1695 the architect Karol Benoe rebuilt the building for the third time. The building had a figure of archangel Michael on its top (a patron of Ruthenia). During that time the Rathaus served as a city administration for the Polish-Ruthenian magistrate (since 1674). Since 1801 the building was used as a jail by the Austrian authorities. On September 28, 1868 the city fire destroyed the building. The fourth building was rebuilt in 1870 by professor Pokutynsky. That edition of the Rathaus was destroyed during the World War I.
