History: This residence is the second South District schoolhouse, which was built in 1866. In December 1905, Edward O' Connor bought it from the town for $4000. He turned it into an inn and saloon after raising the roof and adding a second and third floor. In 1919 William and Freida Stoll purchased the house and had a bakery here. The bake ovens are still in the basement. the arthur Davies family lived here from 1960 to 1982, when Keith and Sandy Dauer purchased the property.
