Ludendorff Bridge (Remagen)
This was the location of the Ludendorff Bridge (or the Bridge at Remagen) which was used by the Allies during WWII to cross the Rhine River into Germany.
The Bridge collapsed several days after being captured. The ruins of the tower now house a museum.
