Designed as South Western Ontario's first destination winery, View Pointe Estates opened in 2005 with 3 vineyards and over 42 acres in grapes. The winery buildings comprise over 19,500 sq. ft. and include an agriculture building, wine cellar and hospitality building. Loosely modeled after Kingsville's former Mattawas Hotel the facilities include a retail store, culinary training , a banquet hall, production and aging cellars and a spectacular view of Lake Erie.
