Population approx: 2800. Home of the Minster Wildcats (Minster Local Schools). Founded in 1832 originally as Stallostown. Industries located in Minster are the Minster Machine Company, Precision Strip, and The Dannon Company (The Minster plant makes over 2 million cups of yogurt a day, quite possibly the largest yogurt plant in the world). Rivals include the neighboring towns of New Bremen to the north and Maria Stein to the west.

Minster is also home to the famous Oktoberfest. In which, the Minster celebrates its German heritage. Beer and Polka, how can one lose? This is the second largest Oktoberfest celebration in Ohio. Which is a large feat of Minster but its only home to 2800 people. During Oktoberfest, Minster's Oktoberfest draws in 80,000 people in the 3-day celebration. Oktoberfest also has its famous 10-k run. Which draws people all around the world to run.

Minster's Oktoberfest is ALWAYS during the first weekend to have at least one of the days in October.
