In 1920, the industrialist August Heckscher built a small beaux-arts museum in the midst of Huntington's Heckscher Park to house his eclectic private collection ranging from Egyptian artifacts to 19th-century paintings glorifying the beauty of New York's Hudson River Valley. It was designed by the firm of Maynicke & Franke at a cost of $128,000 ($2.25 million dollars in 2017).

Can you find a link to Hechscher Park itself for me? I've been trying to prove to Wikipedia that it's not the same place as Heckscher State Park in Great River. Send it to my wikipedia talk page when you get it.
