I do not believe this is a pyramid. The overhead view does not give enough information, and there is a notch in the southeast corner.

  • Мне кажется археологам нужно чаще просматривать снимки со спутников. Сооружение похоже искусственное.
  • Оно не просто искусственное. Это явно пирамида с недостроенной надземной частью. Также просматриваются остатки храмов в классическом расположении относительно пирамиды. Один только вопрос - что за прихоть у якобы фараона расположить постройки так глубоко в пустыне?
  • This is a building complex mostly from the New Kingdom uncovered by a Japanese archaeological mission. The main buildings (the location pointed in the map) are a mudbrick enclosure probably belonging to Amenhetep II-Tutmose IV and a temple to prince Khaemwaset (one of Ramese II's son).
