  • The Harsud got submerged in 30 June 2004. This historic town was established in the year 1815 by the then King Harshvardhan. It has been shifted to Chhanera (New Harsud). Distance between New Harsud and Harsud is approx 20 Km. One of the 250 villages in the State of Madhya Pradesh which got submerged due to Indira Sagar Dam project.
