This place is sandwiched between Basavanagudi and Banshankari. It is an area of
importance but doesn't have that span to justify. However, the population density is on the constant rise and so is the vehicular traffic. But still it is one of the cooler residential areas of Bangalore.

India's first private and one of the best engineering colleges in the country, the B.M.Sreenivasiah College of Engineering is situated here, right in front of the famous Bull Temple.
