Established in 2010, the Management Protection Services is the lead regional resource center dedicated to disaster reduction for safer communities and sustainable development in East Africa. MPS works with governments, NGOs, the private sector and communities of the East Africa region to strengthen their capacities to prevent and mitigate disasters. This is done through training in personal security management protection, occupation health and safety, proactive disaster preparedness, mitigation and response, business continuity management and disaster recovery.
