Hardu shiva is located 10 Km from Sopore town. its population is more than 15 thousand.
this village is also called Punjab of Zangair because it provides jobs to thousand people. the literacy rate is more than 50%. kawaja Hassan Qari's Zeyart is on the North. thousands of people from across the valy vist here every year. the longest canal Nehar-e-Zangair also Passes through this village.

  • As every knows that HARDUSHIVA is located in the north 10 km from sopore town, hardushiva has more than 15000 pop. A/c to 2011 cences report. It has speard over 5 to 6 sq km. Over 12 masques and zeyarat of khaja hasan qari ra. Are situated in HARDUSHIVA. A sheep breading form is also located at shalpora hardushiva where more 800 livestock are present. And more 50 employes are working there. This form is at 4th rank in the j&k. It covers 800 canals land. In shiva there is one of the oldest govt. High school which burns on 26 feb 2007.eidghah,martyryard, cricket ground,high school are located sherpora HARDUSHIVA. Green land school ,govt middle school cricket ground are located at shalpora HARDUSHIVA.zeyarat is located at reshipora HARDUSHIVA. In HARDU SHIVA There are more than 15 mohals. Busstand is situatee at manzpora HARDUSHIVA. Zaingair canal is passing via harrdu shiva. Kolvour nalla bifercate this vil.in two parts harshiva and bonshiva.there are 3 sarpanch in the vilg. Manzoor ah rather johnger ah reshi.and 3rd one there are two towers in shiva AIRTEL AIR CEL.. I am proud that i am from HARDUSHIVA. I love hardushiva.

  • The village of hardu.shiva.is a beautiful.village.because it is surronded by mountains by three sides.this village is 10.kms afar from sopore.between sopore and shiva.there are three villages named.duroo/dangerpora/ sayedpoora.in this village have other two roads named yemren road.this road is linked with bomai.another road is resh khah road it is linked with gori por.also in hardu shiva another thing is that there is a nala named kolwor. .this kolwor runs in the center of shiva and it cuts it in two parts. One is called manzpoora.2nd is called hershiva.the bridge of this nala is made of wood. This bridge is created by the people of hershiva.when flood comes in this nala.it distroyed our crops in drangoor and reshkhah.also in this village is a govt hospital which is located in dar mohallah .the village of hardu shiva is a beautiful village in villages.

  • Let me talk about the economy of Beautiful Shiva. Three are three main sources from where the people get their income. Apple industry is at the forefront of the economy. The second is the stone quarry industry(which has a side effect of destroying the beauty of this village). The thing is the wood industry(side effect destroying jungles) the easiest and lucrative.

  • Hardu-Shiva residents are very enterprising and very friendly. I am a proud resident of the same village: actually my native place is Khadim pati of Hardu-Shiva which is separated from the main village by vast paddy fields and borders Sempora due to which common people take it as a part of Sempora. After my retirement I feel pleasure in settling down again at my native place. On north side of the village there is mountain ranger with villages Rampur Rajpur and Cher Har beyond which is the famous Lolab valley. I feel nostalgic about my hiking in the forests north of the village.

  • high populated village of sopore .... according to 2011 senses report of 16453 inhabitants are living there having litracy rate 76%.mostly people are engaged with their own bussiness. Sheep breeding farm is located in the same village having nearabout 900 livestock. its one of the oldest sheep farm of j&k government.
