Former Haparanda railway station — the building was constructed in 1918. It is the only railway that connects Sweden to the east. There one can see the difference between Swedish and Finnish track widths. It is no longer open for passenger trains. The railway building nowadays serves as a youth center where people go to socialize. Concerts are also held there every now and then.
