Airport serving Marquette County, Michigan. This location is the now-closed K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base, which used to house B-52 long range bombers with nuclear warhead capabilities. With the demise of the Soviet Union, K.I. Sawyer's strategic location lost its value and was closed in the early 1990s.
