  • it is wonderful to read about my childhood place - Carigara and Balud where my parents are from, so we sort of grew up on both places - last time i visited was 3 years ago and i was amazed of the many changes- although childhood landmarks are still standing, i.e. the Cassidy Primary School, Rizal Park, the Church,Holy Cross,the old Court House, Santa Cruz in Ponong where my Mother's house is now located and even Arpon Kodak Shop, the Pharmacy and the Streets - these places gives me that feeling of belonging, more like a flashback of 20 more so years ago, and believe me, the recollections intermingled with each other, trying to place the old with the new. it is on my list to visit again in the very near future - i know it is going to be as exciting as my first visit. all the very best to all Carigaran-ons and Baludians.
  • to tell you about zamboanga history....way back time... here in zamboanga city poeple, they speack spanish 100 percnt and english too...theres no other language only spanish and english. but this present time poeple here in zamboanga city people no longer speack pure spanish... chavano speacking a broken spanish very crooks i hate to hear it.. but, i keep silence and don't mind them just pass by to other my ears...... sometimes i try to correct them about language of spanish but they got angry to me what i explaining[correction] to them,anyway i'm proud i have waray blood and also spanish knowledge
